Terms & Conditions
Welcome to Colorado Iron Gym ("the Gym"). These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our facilities, equipment, and services. By signing up for a membership, accessing, or using our gym you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms.
1. Membership Eligibility
1.1. All members must be at least 13 years old. Members under 18 must have a signed parent consent and liability waiver.
1.2. Membership is non-transferable and may only be used by the registered member.
2. Membership Plans and Fees
2.1. Membership fees must be paid as per the agreed plan. Late payments may result in suspension or termination of access.
2.2. The Gym reserves the right to adjust membership fees or services with at least 30 days' notice to members.
2.3. Membership cancellations, changes, or pauses must be submitted through the official membership changes form. Cancellations require a 30-day written notice. Pauses require a minimum of 3-day notice. Changes may be processed immediately or scheduled to take effect at the next billing cycle.
2.4. Members may cancel at any time without a cancellation fee. A 30-day written notice is required for all cancellations. If a scheduled billing date occurs within the 30-day notice period, the member remains responsible for that final billing cycle.
2.5. Pre-paid plans (1 month, 6 months, or 1 year) are paid in full at the time of purchase and are non-refundable, except where a refund or cancellation right is required by applicable Colorado law. Pre-paid plans do not automatically renew.
3. Facility Access
3.1. The Gym is open 24/7. However, certain areas or services (Pro Shop, Personal Training, Tanning, etc.) may have restricted hours.
3.2. Members must use their personal app credentials to access the facility. Sharing access credentials is strictly prohibited and may result in membership termination.
3.3. Non-members, including guests, are not permitted in the facility without prior authorization or a valid guest pass. Violations will result in a $20 initial violation fee. Continued offenses may result in a $50 tailgating fee and/or termination of membership.
4. Health and Safety
4.1. Members must complete a health questionnaire during registration. The Gym is not liable for injuries or health complications arising from exercise.
4.2. Members should consult a healthcare professional before beginning any fitness program.
4.3. Members are required to follow posted safety instructions, including proper use of equipment.
4.4. Emergency exits, fire extinguishers, and first aid kits are clearly marked. In case of an emergency, contact 911 or on-site staff.
5. Code of Conduct
5.1. Members must treat other members, staff, and the Gym's property with respect.
5.2. The following behaviors are strictly prohibited: harassment, intimidation, or discriminatory actions; damage to gym equipment or facilities; excessive noise, such as yelling or dropping weights; and bringing prohibited items, including alcohol, drugs, or weapons.
5.3. Members must wear appropriate gym and top attire (shirt, tank, or sports bra) and closed-toe athletic footwear when walking on the gym floor.
5.4. Members are responsible for wiping down equipment after use and returning equipment to its designated location.
5.5. Members are not allowed to reserve equipment for themselves or others.
5.6. No horseplay or fighting on the gym floor.
5.7. No personal training unless the member has a trainer membership and provided all the necessary documents.
6. Liability Waiver
6.1. Members acknowledge that use of the Gym involves inherent risks, including but not limited to injuries from equipment use or physical activity. Members assume all risks and agree that the Gym is not liable for personal injury, illness, or loss of property.
6.2. The Gym is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items. Lockers are provided for temporary storage but are used at the member's risk.
7. Equipment Use
7.1. Members must use equipment only for its intended purpose. Misuse of equipment may result in injury and/or membership termination.
7.2. If equipment is damaged or malfunctioning, members must notify staff immediately.
8. Termination of Membership
8.1. The Gym reserves the right to terminate a membership without notice for violations of these Terms or inappropriate behavior.
8.2. Upon termination, access to the Gym and all member privileges will cease immediately.
9. Privacy and Data Protection
9.1. The Gym collects personal data for membership management, communication, and to process your requests. We share data with the service providers that operate our membership, booking, payment, and email systems, and we use basic website analytics. We do not sell your personal data. 9.2. Security cameras are in operation for safety and security. Footage is stored securely and accessed only when necessary.
10. Amendments
10.1. The Gym reserves the right to amend these Terms at any time. Members will be notified of changes via email or the Gym's official website.
11. Governing Law
11.1. These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Colorado.
By signing up for a membership, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms and Conditions.
